Art & Design Senior Show Competition
This poster was designed in an Art & Design Senior Show competition. Competing to become the main poster for the George Mason University Art & Design Senior Show Fall 2021. This poster received second place in the competition.
Represent the Tools
The tools are the important key to creating art and allowing students to express themselves using tools. A mason, having a multi-art school from Digital Media, Graphic Design, Photography, Studio Art, Illustration, and many more.
The typography was used to show hierarchy and scale. From a Sans Serif, it allowed me to create a good balance between the title and the information about the show. The font used was P22 Underground, with the typeface being a mix of bold and regular bold. Which hierarchy is in use from the weight of the typeface.
At the bottom is an illustration of the school during a night setting. This is at the bottom so the rainbow night sky can flow out of the University and show the creating is being released from the School of Art Building. All the parts combined to create a beautiful night scenery from the Art and Design building at George Mason University.
